Many of you may have heard the fun and crazy stories that came out of Aruba, and let me tell you they are 99.9% true. The tournament was great for me as I finished in 18th place. For a FreeRoll that?s pretty good to me. I had above average chips with 18 players left and I felt very comfortable and I really thought the FT was coming up. The biggest disappointment was when I missed an ALLIN on a flop with my A2 of diamonds on a 57j, 2 diamond board. That hand was worth 500,000 in chips. A hit and I would almost have a FT secured, but it didn?t happen. The tournament was very well put together and I recommend for any poker player to go. It?s a poker vacation.
Next I am playing day 1b of the Barcelona WPT. It doesn?t look like the field is going to be more than 300 players. If my play continues, maybe I can make it further than 18th place this time.
