The first two bracelets have been awarded at the 2007 World Series of poker. Steve Billirakis wins World Series of Poker Event #1, The $5,000 Mixed Limit/No-Limit event, earning $536,287, a Corum watch, and a WSOP bracelet.

At 21 years and 10 days, he becomes the youngest player in history to win a WSOP bracelet, it?s the fourth straight year that this record has been broken. It?ll be much tougher to beat it next year.
The second winner of the tourney is Frederick ?Eric? Narciso, who won the bracelet and $104,701 taking down event #2, The $500 buy-in Casino Employees No-Limit Hold-?em Event. There were 1,039 participants in this event.

But the Event this year is still struggeling with some problems. The registration lines at this year?s World Series have been longer then ever and many players have been complaining. Many waited in line more than 3 hours long for pre-registration for event #3, the $1,500 No-Limit Event and some players were still in line as the tournament began.

Day three of the WSOP proved to be hectic for players and officials, as there were one final table - $5,000 mixed hold?em - and three other bracelet events - $1,500 no-limit hold?em, $1,500 pot-lmit hold?em, and $2,500 Omaha/seven-card stud eight-or-better? were in full progress.

The day started with a series of delays, one was in the $1,500 no-limit event as players busted out so fast officials could not keep pace and suspended play for 40 minutes, much to the chagrin of many players. Other delays occurred when some players complained that their chip counts were not as they had signed off on the previous night.

But not just delays dominated the day, there was Poker as well!

The European contingent had plenty to cheer as German Anders Krause, who finished second in the $2,500 seven-card stud eight-or-better in 2000, stormed to the final table.
Anders Krause, with tournament earnings of over $800,000, has $490,000 in chips, just over half the stack. He is on touch with the two chip leaders, Alex Jacob and Paul Evans.

Event four, $1,500 pot-lmit hold?em, saw 781 players register, with Marco Traniello of Italy and Ian Woodley of England finishing the day on approximately $66,000 and $40,000 in chips, respectively with blinds, of $2,000/-$4,000. Katja Thater from Germany was hanging in with around $12,000 in chips. All have made the money, with the tournament paying out 72 players.
