Celebrities will use their famous faces for something good. Next month, poker-playing stars take it to the tables for charity, raising money for Darfur refugees.
Celebrities will attend a charity tournament called "Ante Up for Africa" in Las Vegas. Superstars such as Don Cheadle, Annie Duke, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Ben Affleck, Gina Gershon, Shannon Elizabeth, Phil Hellmuth, Chris Ferguson and many more will play some Hold'em to help raise awareness and money for the Darfur region in Sudan.
"Ante Up for Africa" will run on July 5th alongside the WSOP at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. Anyone 21 or older is invited to attended the tournament, which has a limited number of seats but offers pre - registration.
Donations aren't being required to participate, however, Don Cheadle and Annie Duke are asking winners to donate at least half of their haul to the "ENOUGH Project" and the International Rescue Committee, organizations designed to raise public awareness and five aid to the survivors of Darfur.
