The first two bracelets have been awarded at the 2007 World Series of poker. Steve Billirakis wins World Series of Poker Event #1, The $5,000 Mixed Limit/No-Limit event, earning $536,287, a Corum watch, and a WSOP bracelet.
At 21 years and 10 days, he becomes the youngest player in history to win a WSOP bracelet, it?s the fourth straight year that this record has been broken. It?ll be much tougher to beat it next year.
The second winner of the tourney is Frederick ?Eric? Narciso, who won the bracelet and $104,701 taking down event #2, The $500 buy-in Casino Employees No-Limit Hold-?em Event. There were 1,039 participants in this event.
But the Event this year is still struggeling with some problems. The registration lines at this year?s World Series have been longer then ever and many players have been complaining. Many waited in line more than 3 hours long for pre-registration for event #3, the $1,500 No-Limit Event and some players were still in line as the tournament began.
