Event #42, $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha high/Low Split, brought eight hours of final-table play on day three of the largest live PLO tournament in history. Lukasz Dumanski, who started the table in 7th place, emerged victorious to win his first WSOP bracelet. Also $227,454 in prize money and a Corum watch. The final table guaranteed that a first-time bracelet winner would be crowned, as none of the final nine players had ever won a World Series event before.
In Event #39, the H.O.R.S.E. Tourney moves along and surprisingly, it is the event that everyone is watching. With a $50 000 buy-in, a mixed game format, massive prizes and top names this contest almost rivals the Main Event.
Yesterday brought some big name eliminations, which included Phil Hellmuth, Eli Elezra, Isabelle Mercier, Erick Lindgren, Allen Cunningham, Phil Ivey, Annie Duke, Erik Seidel, Scotty Nguyen, David Williams, David Sklansky, Toto Leonidas and Cyndy Violette.
