Create Your Own Custom Table Skins!

To create your own custom table skins for Absolute Poker follow these instructions:

Download the .jpg version of our quarter table to use as a template*. Edit the quarter table graphics with an image editing software like Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. You can get an absolutely free image editor here: www.photofiltre.com

You can also start by creating a completely new jpeg image with your own art, but the image you create must meet these requirements:

Step by step procedure to install your newly created image as a table:

  1. Open the folder your image is in. If it is on the desktop, create a folder and put the image inside. Inside the folder, go to "Tools", and select "Folder Options." Click the "View" tab. Place a check in the circle for "Show hidden files". Uncheck the box for "hide extensions for known file types". Click "Apply" and then "Ok".

  2. You will now see the file extensions for all of your files and be able to change them. The file extension, (like .dat), determines for the computer what type of application the file is.

  3. You can now see the .jpg extension of your image; right mouse click on the skin image file; select "Rename" and rename the image to bg9.dat

  4. Right mouse click the image file again; select "Copy". To get to the data folder, click "Start" and then select "My Computer".
Open the described folders in the order shown below:

    1. Local Disk (C:)
    2. Program Files
    3. Absolute Poker
    4. data

  5. "Right mouse click" in the white area inside the data folder. Select "Paste" to put your new bg9.dat file into the data folder inside the Absolute Poker folder. Click "Ok" to overwrite the old file.

If the graphic you used was 800 x 600 pixels and originally a .jpg image It will be displayed as your new table next time you open Absolute Poker.
