In fixed-limit games, every player is given 25 seconds to act. When 15 seconds remain, a warning message is displayed in the chat box.
Absolute Poker has safeguards in place to protect you in the event of a disconnection from our software.
In most circumstances, a disconnection is a result of a problem on the player's end as opposed to a problem with Absolute Poker's servers.
Our state-of-the-art technology will attempt to re-connect you to the game and return you back to the same table where you were last seated.
If a re-connection is successful and you are able to return prior to the timeout, you will receive a further 10 seconds to act.
On the extremely rare occasion that an Absolute Poker server goes down during a game or tournament, we will restore all poker player accounts to exactly what they were at the time of the interruption. All player accounts are continuously updated upon the completion of every hand to ensure that all transactions are accounted for.
To see exactly what happened before and after a disconnection, use Absolute Poker's Hand History function. It's your key to seeing exactly what happened when your hand was interrupted and ensuring that money was credited to your account in the event that you held the winning hand.
