Absolute Poker's applications require full access to the internet in order to work properly. If those files are blocked then you will not be able to connect to our game, use our features and will receiveerror messages like this:
"The connection cannot be established between your computer and our servers. Most likely, your Firewall is not allowing Absolute Poker to connect. Please email TechSupport@AbsolutePoker.com and let us know the name of your Firewall. We will provide you with instructions to configure it for use with Absolute Poker."
You will have to manually configure your Firewall to permit or allow those files to access the internet. This manual is going to help you to easy perform this actionskeeping your computer safe and secure
Software Opening
Right click on the Windows Live One Care icon on your taskbar
With this menu open click on the"Open Windows Live Onecare"option
Find the firewall settings
Into the Windows Live One care main lobby, click on the change settings option to access the firewall menu
With this window open click on the Configure Firewall button
Adding the rules 1
At the configure firewall window, click on the Advanced Settings button
Now press the Add... button

As soon as the "Open" window appears, find our game folder, It is located at C:\Program Files\Absolute Poker
Then you will have to select the files to add Let's start with the Absolute Poker Hand History file called Aphh.exe
Repeat
Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the files

Error messages
If you accidentally blocked our software or it automatically blocksitself after an update, you will see blocked rules like the image below
Fixing the rules
Fixing the rules basically consists on editing the existing rules to allow the blocked application, select each one of the blocked applications and change the option from block to allow. With this procedure your firewall will be properly configured
