Firewall Instructions

Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0

Absolute Poker's applications require full access to the internet in order to work properly. If those files are blocked then you will not be able to connect to our game, use our features and will receiveerror messages like this:

"The connection cannot be established between your computer and our servers. Most likely, your Firewall is not allowing Absolute Poker to connect. Please email TechSupport@AbsolutePoker.com and let us know the name of your Firewall. We will provide you with instructions to configure it for use with Absolute Poker."

You will have to manually configure your Firewall to permit or allow those files to access the internet. This manual is going to help you to easy perform this actionskeeping your computer safe and secure

Step # 1

Software Opening

Right click on the Kaspersky Internet Security icon on your taskbar

With this menu open, click on the Open Kaspersky Internet Securityoption

Step # 2

Find the firewall settings

In order to access the firewall settings first click on the Protection tab, and then click on firewall.Then at the firewall section click on filtration rules

Finaly click on Filtration rules

Step # 3

Adding the rules 1

Your Kaspersky firewall already added rules for windows applications...To include the Absolute Poker fles click on the Add button

The Add button is going to display a menu to browse or select the applicationsthat you need, click on browse to find the Absolute Poker location

Adding the rules 2

As soon as the "Add Program" window opens find our game folderIt is located at C:\Program Files\Absolute PokerThere you will find the applications to add, let's start withthe Absolute Poker Hand History file called Aphh.exe

Step # 5

Edit the rules

Now you have the application selected, but you have to instruct the firewallto act with it, it needs to know what to do with this file, so click on the add button

Fortunately at this time Kaspersky already included the default rules for this application so you just have to click ok and it will be ready

Step # 6

Repeat

Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the files

Step # 7

Editing the rules

If you accidentally blocked our software or it automatically blocks itself after an update, you just need to edit the previous rule with a new one

To avoid checking the Absolute Poker applications one by one select them and click the delete button

Use the previous steps to add the new rules and your firewall will be ready to use
