Swan Song

Well… As some of you may have noticed, I do not have my "Serinda Swan" table right now (which is apparently due to technical difficulties).

I have been playing on other tables on Sundays (2-4pm ET). This past weekend, I played on a 2/4 NL and it was a totally different game. I honestly didn’t realize that going up $2 in blinds made the pot size so much larger!

All of a sudden there were $300+ pots and this was a regular occurrence. I had to change my play and start out very tight until I found the rhythm of that table. But - once I got into it - I had a blast! I think I might start playing in a few higher limits once in awhile.

I did - however - have some great hands (trip 8's flopped and Kings full of 7's) back to back, which usually helps the whole demeanour of the game, or at least my outlook on it.

I believe now that I really should start diversifying my game, so that when I play in the casinos (and there isn’t my favourite 1/2 NL), I have options.

I don’t know if any of you have heard but there is a new promotion going on until the end of the week (November 16th), where players can sign up for a FreeRoll using the newsletter password.

The winner of the FreeRoll plays me for a shot at a $1000+50 entry into the $100,000 Guarantee on Absolute Poker. The good news is that if I win the other player still gets an entry into the $75,000 guarantee.

I am quite excited about it because I don’t play much heads up. I must say though that heads up isn’t really my game but I’m polishing up on my knowledge and I am going to try and put up a real fight! This is where I need your guys' help: I need the best heads up tips that you have to give me a chance to beat some of these players!
