What Tournaments to Play
- 1.50 dollar freeze outs are good point scorers as well as 100 dollar freeze outs. The re-buy tourneys are great too.
- 2.I have managed to win a lot of TLB points lately on the 13K now a 10K which is a 30 dollar re-buy tourney-- finishing 1st, 2nd and a 3rd place recently out of my last 6 entries into it. The deeper you go in these big multi's the more points you receive and that can really be the difference in a tight race.
Advice
- 1.Now the sit and go's are my TLB "cash crop" and the reason I can win almost any week I run.
- 2.Many players have dubbed me the sit and go "KING" which I have tried to transfer into my multi game of late.
- 3.I play 200, 100 and 65 dollar sit and go's and I'll play the max AP allows a player to play at one time (7 sit and go's)
- 4.Object in the sit and go's is to cash (top 3 out of 9)
- 5.IF U CANT WIN A SIT AND GO U CANT WIN A TLB ON ABSOLUTEPOKER.
Tournament Strategy
- 1.In the re-buys I can take a few more chances in the re-buy period (the first hour), then a regular freeze out multi-table tournament.
- 2.Sit and go's and multi-table tournaments are two different games.
- 3.Sit and go's I play very tight early and aggressive late.
- 4.Multi-table tournaments I try to stay aggressive through a good part of the game because you have to accumulate chips to go far.
Overall
- 1.Play higher level buy-in tournaments, they offer more TLB points.
- 2.Multi-tabling Sit and Go's accumulates the most points when you make the top 3.
- 3.Sit and Go's are key to winning.
- 4.Re-buys and Freeze outs have different strategies.
