I have been playing in my weekly tournaments at my friend's house. I thought, THOUGHT that I was getting the hang of it. I have been playing on AP for over a year but each time I learn something new. This week I really learned that waiting for the right hand/position is key, plus when you get a hand, knowing how to bet ups your odds of winning. I had AQ, and was the first to act. I decided to just limp in and see who had a hand. Bad idea. I don't know what I was thinking I would find out. I guess if someone raised I could assume that they had an A or maybe a pocket pair? Either or wrong decision, I know that everyone will tell you that if you're not in position, you should raise to get the garbage hands out of the race, which I did not. It turned out that no one called except the big and small blind. So I think that I'm in a pretty good position. Flop comes 4d 7c and As so now I'm thinking that I have pretty good chance to win the pot if I bet big and don't let them get any more cards. So I 3 bet the blind and hope for the best. Little did I know that the small blind was sitting on not only a pocket pair but Aces for that matter! Well he suckered me all the way to the end and needless to say that he won that hand. I know that there are a lot of people out there reading this who are groaning and saying what a donkey I am...just know that I'm groaning too! Anyways I am going to get back on tonight and try some new techniques that I learnt at this weekly poker tournament. So watch out everyone, here I come... Also I am so stoked to be coming down to Aruba this week for the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic! I might even be in a bikini calendar shoot. We'll see! On top of that I cant wait to see some of the people that won the trip down there through AP... See you all there! xoxox Serinda Labels: serinda swan news Use the red button to download your free online poker game to meet Serinda at the tables!
