Face of Absolute Poker Wins GUESS Model Search Contest

Miami, April 20, 2007 – Absolute Poker definitely knows how to pick them. Fresh off the heels of signing a one-year contract with popular online poker site Absolute Poker, Vancouver, Canada model Serinda Swan took control of an international GUESS Watches model search contest. Swan beat out 75,000 models to secure her spot as one of four models for the GUESS Watches campaign this holiday season.

“The fashion industry has recognized what the online poker industry already knows,” said David Clainer, Vice President for Absolute Poker. “When it comes to being the face of a brand, Serinda Swan is a true gem.”

The Top 20 candidates in the Faces To Watch competition were flown to Basel, Switzerland where they were interviewed by an international panel of judges. The rest is history.

Serinda Swan began working with Absolute Poker on a project basis with “Absolute Poker TV,” an interactive video newsletter that made its way into the inboxes of poker players around the world. As the new face of Absolute Poker, Serinda Swan will appear in television commercials, print advertisements, website promotions and other promotional pieces. Online poker players can look forward to seeing her online at the tables.
