1. What changes can I expect from Absolute Poker as part of the CEREUS network?

Absolute Poker players can now play poker with more people and enjoy more action, more tournaments, faster-growing Bad Beat Jackpots, and incredible new features. The transition to some of these new features began months before Absolute Poker joined CEREUS. Some changes to functionality and new enhancements have already become part of the Absolute Poker experience.

In the long-term, CEREUS allows Absolute Poker to offer more features and brings greater stability to the poker environment. The combination of a new technology platform and a new 24/7 security center delivers a watertight gaming experience with industry-leading customer service. CEREUS boasts the new Security Center application that immediately detects abnormal winning statistics in real time.

2. What happens if someone else from another site, that is also part of the network, has my same exact username?

It is possible that a Player Name identical to yours is being used within our poker network. The network automatically recognizes players based on play and seniority. So, if the exact same Player Name is being used, players that have generated more STATUS Points will keep their Username.

If you need to make the change, you can take this opportunity to update your Username to better match your style of play or game preference. What’s more, you can now also personalize your image. Show another side of yourself at the tables by uploading your own avatar from your account options page.

3. What happens if I have other player accounts on other brands that are part of the CEREUS network, all with the same Username?

The network will only allow one instance of each Player Name. If there is a Player Name conflict, on your next login the network will notify you of the conflict and prompt you to change it.

When there is a conflict the system will automatically suggest variations of your previous Player Name or you can select an entirely new one. CEREUS also allows you to personalize your image for a new or existing Player Name by uploading your own avatar from your account options page.

4. Who owns the CEREUS network? Did CEREUS buy Absolute Poker?

Tokwiro Enterprises owns Absolute Poker and the CEREUS network. The launch of the new unified network (CEREUS) enables Tokwiro to provide vastly improved service to customers of both brands. Absolute Poker and the CEREUS network are regulated by the KGC – Kahnawake Gaming Commission.

5. Does CEREUS offer any additional security benefits to AP?

The combination of a new technology platform and a new 24/7 security center brings players a watertight gaming experience. The number one priority for the development of the CEREUS poker network was to deliver state-of-the-art security. CEREUS boasts the new Security Center application that immediately detects abnormal winning statistics in real time. It is a major security achievement and gives the Absolute Poker poker room additional layers of security, allowing us to ensure fair play for everyone at the tables.

6. Why does AP sometimes look or feel like other brands on the network?

CEREUS, the new technology platform for the network, combines the best features from different brands to deliver a secure, responsive, and flexible online poker gaming experience.

As part of a network, Absolute Poker and each of the brands share comparable features and, at times, can have sections that look similar.

7. How about the operation? Is AP operated with the same team as other brands on the CEREUS network? Is it the same payment processing team?

The CEREUS network uses a unified support platform. The best features and functionality of support and payment processing were integrated to create a unified, more efficient approach to customer issues. This means you get a more efficient platform and even faster transactions with the payment processing team.

8. Is my player information shared with other brands on the network?

The number one priority for the development of the CEREUS poker network was to deliver state-of-the-art security. We value our players’ privacy and only Tokwiro employees would have limited access to any confidential information. All confidential information is encrypted in our database and is not stored in clear text to ensure the privacy of our customers.

9. Can I still sit at a table or in a tourney with only AP players?

One of the major benefits of CEREUS is that players from different poker communities can play at the same tables. More players mean more action at the tables. And that means more tournaments and poker tables at all levels of play. The entire poker network will be able to join in on the action. So, other players at the tables may belong to other communities. There may be special tournaments created only for Absolute Poker players, but most of the tables and tournaments will be enabled for players throughout the poker network.
