My home game story

So I play in a home game once a month if lucky. Coming to the end of the tournament, five players left, $520 for first place. I have pocket Aces and raise it preflop, someone comes over the top, I go all in, so does he. He turns over A-10 off. I'm a little pissed he went over the top then called with that, but hey, his cards, right? Flop comes K-5-2 rainbow, looking really good, only way I can lose is runner-runner 10's. Do I have to finish the story at this point? He hits the runner-runner 10's, I go home bubble boy. God I hate this game.
