Its a 10 seater and Im dealt pocket 3's (clubs and spades). 7 people call the blind and i decide to bump it up to thin the feild out a little. I bump to a $1 and 5 players call, 2 fold out. The flop is 2 diamonds, 3 diamonds, 2 clubs. I just flopped a full house. Whats more there is only 1 hand that can beat me at this point; pocket 2's( this would give an opponent quads) even if someone is holding 2, 3, (the last 3 in the deck) my 3's full of 2's trumps his 2's full of 3's and the hand is mine. I've decide to slow play and check hoping to milk the hand for whatever chips I can suck out. The player to my left bets $2. I've played him before and I know that he bluffs trips whenever the flop is paired. He's as consistent as a swiss chronograph when it comes to this, so I let him do my betting for me. The next player folds immediately, but the woman to his left raises $2. The bets now $4 on a 10 c./ 25c. table and Im sure the remaining two are about to fold. The next player does, but the last player calls $4 and so do I. My competition has just been cut from 5 to 3. The turn is a 6 of diamonds ( 2 Di. 3Di. 2Cl. 6Di). The board is showing a possible straight, possible flush, and possible full house. There are now 2 hands that can beat me; pocket 2's (Quads) and pocket 6's (sixs full twos) but I feel confident. I check again and let the bluffer do his work. He bets $5, he's trying to buy it, but his plan doesnt work. She raises him to $10. To my amazement the last player calls, Im starting to get nervous; I figure he's play a straight or a flush, and im not about to fold a full house on a pot like this so I call. That brings the pot to $62.50 on a 10c./25c. blind table. Now its time for the card weve all been waiting on....the river....its a 3 of Hearts ! I just hit quads. Everyone is holding strong cards and are eager to bet so I let them. The Bluff master still wants to buy the pot he's in for $10, she doesnt even pause, she raises his $10 to $20 and tells him to fold and save his money. Im ready to reraise but before I get the chance the next player reraises her to $30 and tells her to take her own advice and fold. I go all in for $35 on my quad 3's and tell them they are all fools if they call. I have every out beat Im sure, my quads will crush a straight, kill a flush, waste the 2 possible full houses and it will even beat the possible quad 2's like a red headed step child. Everyone calls, Everyone tells the others what amatures they are the pot is nearly $200 on a 10 cent/25 cent table. Im pat I simply cant lose. The bluffer showes a straight 6 high (he hit straight on two inside cards..unreal), the player to my right shows a flush AK high in diamonds, I show my quads and try to be sympathetic "hey you win some you lose some", But the one female at the table, the source of all sin and suffering in the world has yet to show her cards.....4 diamonds, 5 diamonds......a straight flush, two inside cards to a straight flush......I tried to tell my self it was OPM (other peoples money) but in the end I just ended up beating my head off the keyboard. richnpoor67 Labels: bad beat poker story, Online poker bad beats You want to play poker instantly?
