Lesson Learned

Monday, July 23, 2007 / posted by Poker Star @ 9:21 AM
This just happened to me yesterday in a satellite qualifier online. I was in 4th position with 12 players left and 11 seats to be won. Ofcourse I'm just folding, waiting for the next player to get knocked out.

On my big blind I have KQ suited and everyone folds except the small blind (#2 guy) who just calls. I just called also.

The flop comes KKQ rainbow and he goes all in. I know I have a seat if I just keep folding, but with these cards it was time to teach the #2 guy a lesson. So I went all in figuring him for QQ (1 out ) or AA (2 out ) .

He had the AA and caught A on turn and rag on river. The lesson was learned by me, as I finished 12th and got nothing.
