"This one's a game changer. We've added a sweet side pot to select
tables to bring you a more intense kind of poker."
Seven Deuce games function like regular Texas Hold'em ring games, except players pay an additional amount (the prop bet) into a side pot when joining the table. The Seven Deuce pot is paid to the first player who wins a hand holding 7-2 hole cards. The player can win either by having the best overall hand or by bluffing and taking down the pot at any street while holding 7-2.
The prop bet is equal to 1.5 times the big blind at low stakes tables ($0.10/$0.25, $0.25/$0.50, $0.50/$1, $1/$2) and 2 times the big blind at high stakes tables ($2/$4, $3/$6, $5/$10, $10/$20 and up). Players who leave a table or sit out will have their prop bets returned to them. After the side pot is won, players who wish to remain seated at the table must repost their prop bets.
If two or more players tie while holding 7-2, the Seven Deuce prize pool will be distributed equally among the winning players. In order for a player to win a 7-2 pot, the player must win the main pot and any other side pots that they contributed to, if the hand goes to a showdown. A player that goes to the showdown only has to hold 7-2 hole cards; the player is not required to use both cards in the winning hand. When the main pot is split, the side pot will be awarded only if both players hold 7-2. If only one player holds 7-2 and splits the main pot with another player not holding 7-2, then the side pot will not be awarded.
You can find our Seven Deuce Tables by visiting the lobby and clicking on the Hold'em tab. Just look for tables labeled 7-2. There are pot limit, no limit, and fixed limit games for every budget.
